Work closely with 
John and 
Artem to shape how Fastrepl and its products look, sound, and show up. You are the producer, writer, editor, on-camera talent, and marketer—and own every logistical detail from idea to distribution.
What you will own
- Make long- and short-form videos for Anarlog now and Char next.
- Find stories in product work, user conversations, and the people building each product.
- Produce every shoot: own the people, schedule, locations, equipment, files, approvals, and delivery.
- Write the story, shoot and direct it, edit it, appear on camera when needed, and market the finished video.
- Use your own craft, freelancers, and AI to publish often without accepting sloppy work.
- Make each video for its platform: YouTube, LinkedIn, or X.
- Form hypotheses about what people will watch and share. Use the response to decide what to repeat.

- You have made videos you are proud to show and can explain exactly what you did.
- You can produce, write, shoot, edit, direct, and appear on camera.
- You can make software ideas clear without making them dull or wrong.
- You work independently while staying close to John and Artem.
How you will work
- Decide how each idea should be made and who or what should help.
- Work closely with John and Artem, but do not wait for them to direct every video.
- Work with the person leading a product when video can help it grow. Run lower-lift experiments yourself when they can answer the question faster.
- Run Fastrepl's one-person video studio and own its output.

Complete company and software onboarding. Learn how John, Artem, and the team think about the products, brand, and audience so you can start producing in week two.
1 month
Make progress every week. Publish your first work, improve something significant about the video operation, and learn which ideas people watch and share.
1 quarter
Run the video studio independently. Form hypotheses, own every production detail, publish without waiting for direction, and build on what can compound.
1 year
Fastrepl has a recognizable video language and a dependable creative engine. The audience keeps growing even when individual experiments miss.
Hiring process
- Apply by email. We review the work and idea you share.
- 40-minute call. We discuss your work, the role, your editorial judgment, and how you get videos made.
- Work trial. You join our remote workspace for up to a week and develop a real Fastrepl video brief with us.
- Offer. We agree on scope, compensation, equity, and a start date.

What is Fastrepl, and what does it care about?
- Fastrepl is a software studio between Seoul and San Francisco. We build Char, an AI scratchpad for getting things done, and Anarlog, a private meeting notepad.

- Ship work you would put your name on. Learn from users, improve the product, and grow the business.
What results matter most?
- We care whether people choose to watch and share.
- We track reach, impressions, shares, and audience growth. Product owners turn that attention into usage and revenue.
Do I need to be on camera?
- Yes. You should be comfortable appearing on camera and directing others.
- You can use freelancers and AI, but you own the finished video.
Is this a writing role?
- No. You will write scripts and outlines, but your job is to make videos people watch and share.
- Product owners handle articles and other written content. They also turn the attention you create into product use and sales conversations.
Where can I work?
- The role is remote. Seoul is helpful for filming together, but it is not required.
- You will work closely with John and Artem from wherever you are.
